Valentin Bianchi Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Overview

Intense red color with a violet shade. This Cabernet Sauvignon displays aromas of spice, red pepper, red and ripe fruits, oak notes, figs, paprika, and roasted coffee. Very good structure on the palate, with soft tannins and considerable persistence and volume. Balanced acidity and remarkable freshness make it an enjoyable, easy- drinking wine.

Wine Facts

Winemaker Notes
The grapes come from the Doña Elsa Estate, situated in Rama Caíida, San Rafael, Mendoza, and the Asti Estate, from the Las Paredes district. – both around 750 meters above sea level. This wine is a true Cabernet Sauvignon drawn from different terroirs from San Rafael, with soils of variable composition and diverse microclimates – enabling good complexity in aromas and flavors. Much of the soils are alluvial, with layers of medium-sized boulders, bathed with light calcareous strata. Picked by hand, the grapes went through classical crushing and fermentation, with periodic pump-over and 14 days’ maceration on skins. It was aged 4 months in French Oak barrels. The wine then underwent stabilization, filtering and bottling, with three months further aging in bottle.
